Childern´s Sanatorium Ostrov u Macochy

The point od this master thesis is to propose a new Sanatorium with speleotherapy for children as an architectural concept. The building site is located on the northeast hill of township Ostrov u Macochy near the main entarnce to the cave, which is crucial for correct rehabilitation and treatment of the children. Sanatorium building contains everything needed for seasonal stay of the children – accomodation, school cafeteria with kitchen, medical space, rehabilitation with small wellness and one pool, cloakroom with equipment neccesary for the cave trip, administration part, common leisure spaces, spacious outside playgrounds and lastly all technical and technological things needed to keep the sanatorium running. In the surroundings of the building are couple of newly build family houses and the rest are meadows and forest.

Communication in the management of school cafeteria

TITLE: Communication in the management of school cafeteria AUTHOR: Drahomíra Dušková DEPARTMENT: School management center SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Jiří Trunda ABSTRACT: Final bachelor thesis deals with internal communications in the school cafeterias and focuses on manager's communication. Survey was sent out to a total of 250 school cafeterias, from the total number of 8154 school catering facilities across the Czech Republic. Questionnaires were completed by 116 managers (directors) of school cafeterias and 259 employees. The thesis reports on the communication skills. On one side, from the perspective of managers themselves, determining their views on how they apply communication skills. And on the other side, from the perspective of employees in cafeterias, as they perceive and understand communication. Analysis of the results revealed some differing views on issues of communication between the school cafeteria managers and their employees. Some questions were perceived as critical for both sides, in other, sides answered in positive consensus in favor of successful communication skills. Further the thesis has determined that 61% of school cafeteria managers have no training or education in management. Title Selected nutrition aspects of female students at chosen universities in the Czech Republic Abstract The objective of this Bachelor thesis is to focus on specific aspects of selected female university students in the Czech Republic. Initial chapter describes basic life-style facts of this group. Following chapters list and compare youth and adult nutrition habits. General nutrition issues are also presented in this project including family and school nutrition addition to public nutrition analyses. There is also chapter specifying sample of university student, nutrition habits and relevant research. The practical part presents own university student research. The output of this research did not prove any significant fluctuation in female student nutrition at selected universities. Level of knowledge of first grade pupils in selected elementary schools about healthy eating habits

The diploma thesis deals with the attitude of students to a healthy diet with the possibility of their own free choice. It represents possible justified risks arising from insufficiently timely information. Most mental and health threats occur in old school age. For this reason, my part is focused on the younger school age, where it is necessary to apply primary prevention against these threats. The aim of my diploma thesis is to provide information about the level of students' knowledge of healthy eating, taking into account the biological, psychological and social aspects by which they are affected. I carried out the research at the 1st stage of a Prague primary school. Quantitative questionnaire surveys, consisting of closed and open questions, were used as research methods. The results provide a comprehensive picture of students' attitudes and levels of awareness of healthy eating with regard to their own eating habits before the end of primary school and before transfer to secondary school or leaving for multi-year grammar schools. The research revealed an opportunity to influence these views at a time when they are being formed and strengthened at a younger school age by a separate school subject.
